📘 Get Ready for Year 5 (2026) – Maths Only Course
Give your child a confident and focused start to Year 5 – a key year for 11+ preparation.
Running from Monday 17th – Friday 21st August, this structured one-week Maths course is designed for students currently in Year 4 who are moving into Year 5 and ready to strengthen their core skills while beginning to develop the reasoning required for entrance exams.
Each session is 1 hour daily, delivered in a small group setting to ensure clear explanation, strong engagement, and opportunities for every student to participate.
Throughout the week, students will build confidence in:
Number fluency and accuracy
Multi-step problem solving
Arithmetic strategies across key topics
Identifying relevant information in word problems
Explaining their thinking clearly and logically
Lessons are designed to move beyond routine practice, introducing students to exam-style reasoning and the level of thinking expected in Year 5 and 11+ preparation.
This course is ideal for students who would benefit from a focused Maths boost before the academic year begins, particularly those preparing for upcoming entrance exams.
By the end of the week, parents will have a clearer understanding of their child’s current level, along with guidance on what to focus on in the lead-up to exams.
